Clinical Documentation Training
The CIBHS Clinical Documentation training is designed to prepare service providers for meeting the regulations (DMC-ODS and California)required for reimbursement of services delivered to DMC-ODS beneficiaries. This training focuses on DMC documentation requirements to support claims for services rendered. There is also a clinical and financial component.
Space is limited to so please register early! This training is open to registrants from all counties in California. Please also cancel promptly if you cannot attend so another person can be admitted.

Learning Objective
- Participants will be able to better understand and apply DMC-ODS regulatory compliance requirements and as a result reduce the number of audit exceptions for their agency.
Participants will be able to describe the requirements and timelines for intake and admission to treatment, including:
- Initial and continuing medical necessity
- Diagnosis
- Biopsychosocial / ASAM Assessment
- Physical Exam
As Measured by a reduction in errors or audit exceptions upon reviews.Participants will be able to Identify the elements required for developing a patient-centered treatment plan, the critical timelines for developing the plan, and signature requirements as measured by increasing compliance with these timelines and increasing client satisfaction ratings.
- Participants will be able to increase the number of compliance with the DMC/ODS requirements for each service as measured by the increasing number of approved treatment services.

CCAPP: CIBHS is an approved provider for California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP) continuing education units (Provider number 5-98-408-0822).
CADTP: CIBHS is an approved provider for California Association of DUI Treatment Programs (CADTP) continuing education credits. CIBHS maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content. (Provider number 240)
All activities in this training are offered for continuing education credit excluding any breaks. CE Certificates of Completion will be emailed within two weeks of processing your completed online evaluation.
