We would like to update you on the status of the June 2-3,2020 Fiscal Leadership Institute. The FLI was originally scheduled to be an in-person conference, however, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have decided to hold a virtual, online training over a period of 3-4 days. We are working on rescheduling the dates and will provide final confirmation within a couple of weeks.
CIBHS is committed to reducing our staff's, customers', and communities' risk associated with the current COVID-19 outbreak. We are confident that the virtual, online training we present will provide the same quality program you would receive in-person.
Please be sure to cancel any travel or hotel arrangement you have made for this event. We will continue to update you via email.

Public behavioral health financing has become increasingly complex in recent years and is constantly evolving, especially in this era of health care reform. The fiscal viability of county behavioral health agencies depends upon the capacity of their fiscal departments to understand and learn how to braid the many funding streams they have to work with in order to achieve the best outcomes. The Fiscal Leadership Institute incorporates information about current and emerging federal and state fiscal policy topics that are geared specifically to the training needs of county behavioral health finance managers and staff. The FLI is offered in a conference-style format that includes presentations by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), interactive dialogue and opportunities for peer learning.

We encourage each county to identify the appropriate fiscal staff and to attend as a team. Space is limited, so we encourage counties to register early.
