Description
The two (2) day Institute will present the Cultural Competence and Ethnic Services Manager with essential information strategies, and best practices to support their role in Behavioral Health including:
- Historical orientation and updates related to current policies, standards, and practices for cultural competence within behavioral health organizations
- Clarification of Cultural Competence and Ethnic Services Managers role and responsibilities
- Reporting,evaluation and outcomes
- Community capacity building strategies in key areas
- Strategies to develop, implement, manage and sustain cultural competence plan activities
