CE-CERT is an evidence-informed model created to support the emotional well-being of providers who are exposed to the effects of secondary trauma and burnout. The focus of CE-CERT is to develop skillfulness in learning and practicing a set of behaviors and strategies for sustaining a career in the helping professions.
CE-CERT aims to:
1.
Support experiential engagement.
2.
Reduce rumination.
3.
Improve conscious narrative .
4.
Improve parasympathetic recovery.
5.
Reduce emotional labor.
Are you a provider, clinician, or case manager who is exposed to the effects of secondary trauma and burnout? Do you have a difficult time leaving work behind and find yourself preoccupied with those whom you are trying to help? Move beyond self-care, find ways to make your role more meaningful and satisfying and improve your sense of competency to guide your clients!

maintain, and utilize skills that address burnout and compassion fatigue.
