Virtual Training Description
In this four half-day training brought to you by California Institute for Behavioral Health Solutions (CIBHS), National trainers Donna Potter and Leila Keen will assist behavioral health practitioners understand the basics of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidenced based practice for children and adolescents and their parents and caregivers impacted by trauma. A master's degree in counseling (e.g., social work, counseling, etc.) is required to attend this training and become proficient in this model.
Learning Objectives
1. Participants will be able to demonstrate the key principles of the TF-CBT model and outcomes and describe the core practices.
2. Participants will be able to apply the TF-CBT model with children of different ages and from diverse cultural backgrounds.
3. Participants will be able to identify the symptoms of complex trauma.
4. Participants will be able to utilize assessment to choose TF-CBT appropriate cases.

Day 3: Thursday, December 9, 2021, 12:00PM to 3:00PM PST
Day 4: Friday, December 10, 2021, 12:00PM to 3:00PM PST
Cost: $950 for training & 14 shared consultation calls
$1,010 for training, 14 shared consultation calls, & Continuing Education credits.
The fee does not include booster training, audio review or the pre-training web course which are also required for proficiency.
National Consultants Donna Potter, LCSW and Leila Keen, LCSW will conduct the initial training.
All clinicians and supervisors attending must complete the 10-hour online TF-CBT training prior to the training to familiarize themselves with the basic foundations of TF-CBT. By registering for this training, you are committing to completion of all training requirements: the 10-hour online pre-training, four half days of training,14 consult calls, submission and passing of an audio review, and a full day booster in 6 months.
Continuing Education $60.00 for 12 CE
Psychologists : Psychologists - APA : California Institute for Behavioral Health Solutions is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. California Institute for Behavioral Health Solutions maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
RN : CIBHS is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP 17140 for 12 contact hours.
LMFT, LPCC, LEP and/or LCSW : CIBHS is an approved provider for the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) to sponsor continuing education. CIBHS maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content .Course meets the qualifications for 12 hours of continuing education credit for L MFTs,LPCCs, LEPs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. CCAPP : CIBHS is an approved provider for California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP) continuing education units (Provider number 5-98-408-0822).
CADTP: CIBHS is an approved provider for California Association of DUI Treatment Programs (CADTP) continuing education credits. CIBHS maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content. (Provider number 240)
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations for continuing education must be received in writing within 48 hours after the first day of the training to receive a refund. Refunds: All refunds will be subject to a $10.00 administration fee,which will be deducted from all refund checks. In the event the provider cancels the conference, full refunds will be given.
All activities in this training are offered for continuing education credit excluding any breaks. CE Certificates of Completion will be emailed within two weeks of processing your completed online evaluation.
