Motivational Interviewing
A Two Day Training for MI Trainers, Evaluators and Coaches Learning how to use MITI 4.2.1

This course is designed to update MI trainers, coaches and evaluators in how to use the newest MI treatment integrity tool (MITI).
The MITI 4.2.1 is a behavioral coding system that provides an answer to how well or poorly a person is using Motivational Interviewing and is useful in determining training and evaluation needs within a program.
Participants will be able to apply the MITI 4.2.1 manual to audio interview examples, in order to:
- Identify behavior counts
- Identify global characteristics
- Identify coaching opportunities for interviewer skill development

Continuing Education 
Psychologists : Psychologists - APA : CIBHS is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. CIBHS maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
RN / PT Credit : CIBHS is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP 11779 for 12 contact hours.
MFT, LPCC, LEP and/or LCSW Credit : CIBHS is an approved provider for the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) to sponsor continuing education. Course meets the qualifications for 12 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LPCCs, LEPs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. CIBHS maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content. (Provider Number 70799)
CCAPP : CIBHS is an approved provider for California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP) continuing education units (Provider number 5-98-408-0818).
All activities in this training are offered for continuing education credit. CE Certificates of Completion will be mailed within two weeks following the training.
